Shalae joined Evolution as an EA to Managing Partner, Stuart, in November 2018. She is a serial solution finder, strategy curator, and ideation leader with a diverse work background across industries in operations management. Combining her pragmatic approach, paired with design thinking she partners with organizations to discover solutions to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
Shalae proactively jumped into the Evolution space, and contributed to building systems and upleveling operations. She now focuses on account coordination of large client systems, and Evolution’s Widening the Circle initiative.
Her formal education includes a Master of Science degree from California State University East Bay, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University. Shalae frames her work around the approach that our foundation rests in the belief that organizational growth is sustained by considering where the world and tech tools are going, and not just where they have been. Shalae is passionate about using her lived experiences to be a contributor and change agent both within and outside of her community.
Shalae was raised in South Florida, and currently resides in the Bay Area, CA. She loves crafts, traveling, expanding her palate, and often considers herself the MacGyver of her home. She is also involved with her community organization, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she acts as the chair of the Technology Committee.
